Lloydminster RCMP advises of heavy police presence – Update #3

On June 11, 2024, at approximately 7:06 a.m., Lloydminster RCMP received reports of a home invasion within the community.

As a result of our ongoing investigation, the following people have been charged with break and entering with intent:

  • A 34-year-old resident of Onion Lake, Sask.
  • A 36-year-old resident of Wetaskiwin, Alta.
  • A 33-year-old resident of Edmonton

They were taken before a justice of the peace and remanded into custody with their next court date set for Sept. 3 2024, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Lloydminster.

A 39-year-old resident of Onion Lake has also been charged with break and enter with intent and is currently awaiting a judicial interim hearing.

Several other individuals have been charged with break and enter with intent and are currently wanted by police:

  • A 20-year-old resident of Sweetgrass First Nation, Sask.
  • A 37-year-old resident of Elk Point, Alta.
  • A 45-year-old resident of Saskatoon
  • A 27-year-old resident of Onion Lake
