At 5:40am on August 8, 2024, Gypsumville RCMP were dispatched to an armed home invasion on Fox Road in Fairford, Manitoba.
The investigation has revealed two adult females were in the home when two male suspects arrived at the residence wearing balaclavas and attempted to enter through the front door. The victims were able to barricade the front door using furniture, however, the suspects gained entry by breaking a front window.
Once inside the residence, the two suspects began shooting at the two victims, striking both of them as they ran for cover.
The two male suspects then left, possibly in a black SUV.
Emergency Medical Services attended and transported both victims, suffering from non-life-threatening gun shot wounds, to hospital.
