Hay River, NT, July 10th, 2024
Further to the release issued yesterday, a 38-year-old male has been charged with:
· Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Bodily Harm, contrary to section 320.13(2) of the Criminal Code
· Assault with a Weapon, contrary to section 267(a) of the Criminal Code
· Failure to Remain at the Scene of an Accident, contrary to section 259(1)(a) of the Motor Vehicles Act
He was released to appear in Hay River Territorial Court on August 26th, 2024.
Investigation into this matter remains ongoing. Police are asking anyone who may have video footage, photos or information about this incident to contact the Hay River RCMP at 874-1111 or Crime Stoppers at http://www.p3tips.com.
