Three individuals have died following a single-vehicle crash in Sheffield, N.B.

On July 14, 2024, at approximately 3:10 a.m., members of the Oromocto RCMP detachment responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Route 105 in Sheffield. Three individuals who were occupants of the vehicle were located deceased.

The crash is believed to have occurred when the vehicle, that was headed East on Route 105, swerved off the road, collided with a tree and caught fire.

Members of the Oromocto Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, and a member of the New Brunswick Coroner's Office also attended the scene. Autopsies will be scheduled to help positively identify the individuals, and to determine the causes of death.

An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist is assisting, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
