Thompson RCMP investigate firearm incident

On November 28, 2024 at approximately 7 :30pm, Thompson RCMP received a report of a male who had pointed a firearm at customers in the parking lot of a business on Caribou Road.

Officers responded immediately and began patrols for the suspect, locating him not far from the initial scene where he was then arrested.

The firearm was not located.

Christopher Dumas, 22-years-old of Thompson has been charged with the following:

  • Pointing a Firearm
  • Carrying a Concealed Weapon
  • Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purposes
  • Fail to Comply Probation Order
  • Weapons Possession Contrary to Order and Fail to Surrender Authorization x2

Dumas remains in custody, and the investigation continues.
