The New Brunswick RCMP's Major Crime Unit (MCU) is investigating the deaths of two individuals in Chipman, N.B., as homicides.
On November 25, 2024, at approximately 8 a.m., members of the Chipman RCMP detachment responded to a report of a vehicle on fire with two people inside, off Midland Road in Chipman. When police arrived at the scene, they located the bodies of two individuals inside a white Chevrolet Equinox that had been consumed by fire.
The New Brunswick RCMP's MCU is leading the investigation and treating the deaths as homicides.
Anyone who was travelling in, or who resides in the area and may have security camera, dash or doorbell cam footage between 8 p.m. on November 24, 2024, and November 25, 2024 at 8 a.m., is asked to contact police.
