RCMP seeking information about mischief at BLT trail access points

RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment is investigating mischief at controlled access points along the Beechville-Lakeside-Timberlea (BLT) trail system.

On November 3, at approximately 10:30 a.m., RCMP officers responded to a report of mischief on the BLT trail from Timberlea to Hubley. At this time, it's believed that a total of ten gates preventing motorized access were vandalized sometime during the previous night. Damage is estimated in the thousands of dollars.

As the investigation continues, investigators are appealing to the public for information.
