September 17, 2024, Greenmount, PEI… Prince District RCMP is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Greenmount Road in the community of Greenmount.
On September 16, 2024, at approximately 2:40 p.m., Prince District RCMP, Alberton Fire Department and EMS responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Greenmount Road. RCMP officers learned that a minivan left the road and collided with a power pole.
The driver, and sole occupant, of the van, an 81-year-old West Prince man, was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other people were involved in this crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
