Dyrese Courchene has been safely located. The RCMP thanks the public and the media for their assistance.
On September 12, 2024, at approximately 12:20 am, Powerview RCMP received a report of a missing 20-year-old male from Powerview-Pine Falls. Dyrese Courchene was last seen at approximately 6:00 pm on September 11, 2024, leaving the community headed west in his pickup truck on Highway 304. At approximately 5:00 pm on September 12, 2024, it is believed Courchene's vehicle was spotted on Route 90 south of Winnipeg. It has not been confirmed that Courchene was in the vehicle.
Courchene is known to hunt and golf. Family and police have checked all the sites he is known to frequent. It is very unusual for Courchene to be out of touch with family and inaccessible by phone. His family and police are worried about his well-being.
Police believe Courchene could be in Winnipeg or the Kenora area of Ontario.
Courchene is described as six feet tall, 243 pounds, with straight black hair covering his ears, and brown eyes. He wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a burgundy long-sleeve crew neck tee-shirt and black sweat pants with sandals.
His pickup truck is a black Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab with Manitoba licence plate H11 457.
