September 3, 2024, Kings County, PE – On August 30, Kings District RCMP responded to a threats and firearm complaint. A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged, and several guns were seized.
On August 30, 2024 at 01:50 a.m. Kings District RCMP were dispatched to a firearms and threats complaint at a residence. When police arrived, they found the accused with a bow and arrow in hand and an arrow ready on the bow. The accused followed police commands and was arrested without incident.
RCMP seized three rifles, a handgun, a shotgun, a bow, knife, and a baseball bat.
Brad Adam Mooney has been charged with:
- Uttering threats
- Pointing a firearm
- Unsafe Storage of a firearm x 5
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm x 4
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon
Mooney will appear in court today to answer to these charges.
