On June 2, 2024, Trevin Steele was located deceased in a residence in Flin Flon.
His death is being investigated as a homicide.
Trevin's family described their son in the following way, "he was a young man of only 24 years, he was polite and well mannered, fiercely protective of his family and close friends, and had a soft compassionate soul. The people who were close to him shared a special bond and those people will carry him in their hearts forever".

On May 28, 2024, at 9:45 am, Flin Flon RCMP received a report of a missing 24-year-old man from an address located on Creekside Drive in Flin Flon.
Trevin Steele was last seen on May 23 at approximately 7:30 pm and last made contact with a family member on May 24 at 3:00 am.
He's described as being 5'9" in height, 130lbs with brown hair, brown eyes and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a green plaid jacket with white sweat pants, white runners and a hat.
RCMP and his family are concerned for his wellbeing. Officers have made extensive patrols around the Flin Flon and Creighton area without success.
