Fentanyl, Cocaine and Meth seized two arrested in Summerside Search.

May 17, 2024, Summerside, PE - On May 10th, officers with the Prince District JFO executed a search at a residence in Summerside seizing various drugs and arresting two individuals. Police seized money, a replica gun, and quantities of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and benzodiazepine. Police found evidence of drug trafficking, but no large quantities were seized.

A 32-year-old Summerside woman and a 34-year-old Summerside man were arrested. They will appear in Summerside Provincial Court at a later date to answer to charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Prince District JFO, the RCMP Police Dog Service, the RCMP East Prince Detachment, and the RCMP Provincial General Investigations Section completed this search. The Prince District JFO Drug Unit is a stand-alone unit comprised of members of the Prince District RCMP, Summerside Police Services, and Kensington Police Services.
