Around 7:00 p.m. August 30, 2024, Estevan RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision on the bypass (Highway #39) east of Highway #47 (north of Estevan). Estevan Police Service also attended.
Initial investigation determined a car collided with a semi truck. The driver of the car, a 66-year-old man from Estevan was pronounced deceased at the scene. The adult male driver of the semi was treated for what were described as minor injuries.
An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist continues to investigate.
