Deschambault Lake RCMP are currently investigating an incident in Deschambault Lake.
There will be an increased police presence in the community as a result of this investigation. Residents are asked to stay away from areas where police are present and follow any direction provided by officers.
Deschambault Lake RCMP have taken a suspect into custody pending further investigation. They do not believe there is any imminent public safety risk associated with this incident. If one is identified, the public will be immediately notified.
