Northwest Territories RCMP have been made aware of a planned telecommunications outage which will affect several communities in the NWT.
On Thursday, July 4th between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. all telecommunications will be disrupted in Inuvik, Fort McPherson and Tsiigehtchic due to Northwestel performing critical maintenance.
This disruption will affect the 9-1-1 system.
To report an emergency, members of the public must attend a detachment in person where an officer will be available.
