The Kings District RCMP General Investigation Section has charged a man with drug offences in Kingston.
On June 22, 2023, as part of an ongoing drug investigation, the Kings District RCMP General Investigation Section, with assistance from the Valley Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, Kings District RCMP and RCMP Police Dog Services, executed a search warrant at a home on Pleasant St. in Kingston. During the search, RCMP officers located and seized cocaine, hydromorphone, cash, an extendable baton, a knife, a replica firearm, scales and drug paraphernalia.
Prior to the execution of the search warrant, a 35-year-old Kingston man, was safely arrested in the parking lot of a nearby business in Kingston.
Zachary Ray Hiscoe, 35, of Kingston, has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (2 counts) and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized. Hiscoe was released on conditions and will appear in Kentville Provincial Court on August 1, 2023 at 9:30 a.m.
