On May 16, 2023, at 1:40 am, Bloodvein RCMP received a report of a fight in progress, involving multiple people, on the main road in the community.
Officers attended and upon arrival located a 32-year-old female, with life-threatening injuries, lying on the roadway. She was transported by officers to the nursing station and later flown to Winnipeg.
On May 17, 2023, the investigation led to the arrest of a 17-year-old female in relation to this assault. She was remanded into custody on a charge of Aggravated Assault.
The victim remains in hospital in stable condition.
Bloodvein RCMP continue to investigate.
