On June 20, 2023, in relation to an ongoing investigation, Saskatchewan RCMP Federal Policing National Security Enforcement Section, in conjunction with the Regina Police Service, search warrants were executed at a residence on the 1100 block of Grey Street in Regina and a storage facility on Inland Drive in Zehner, SK.
Items seized from the properties include:
- A 3D printer
- 4 fully completed and assembled 3D-printed semi automatic "Glock style" handguns with ammo magazines;
- 4 semi automatic pistols including:
- 2 – Jerico Model 941F pistols
- 1 – Bersa Model Thunder 380 pistol
- 1 – Glock Model 48 pistol
- 7 long guns which included:
- 1 – Ruger 10/22 .22 gauge semi automatic rifle;
- 1 – Mossberg Patriot 6.5 calibre bolt action rifle with high powered scope;
- 1 – Ruger bolt action 308 calibre rifle;
- 1 – "Breacher style" 12-gauge pump action Shotgun;
- 1 – T81SA 7.62 calibre semi automatic assault rifle with red dot sight and silencer attachments;
- 1 – Alberta Tactical Rife .223-gauge Carbine with scope, laser marker, and silencer attachments;
- 1 – Alberta Tactical Rife .223-gauge Carbine with red dot scope, laser marker, flash attachments;
- Approximately 10,000 rounds of ammunition;
- Numerous over capacity ammunition magazines;
- Gas masks; night vision goggles, and other tactical equipment.
As a result of investigation, 29-year-old Dalton Fisher of Regina, SK was arrested and is charged with 12 offences including possession of restricted or prohibited firearm, possession of firearms knowing he was not the holder of a license, among others:
- 1 count, Section 95 of the Criminal Code.
- 1 count, Section 93 of the Criminal Code
- 1 count, Section 92(1) of the Criminal Code
- 1 count, Section 91(1) of the Criminal Code
- 1 count, Section 91(2) of the Criminal Code
- 1 count, Section 92(2) of the Criminal Code
- 2 counts, Section 99 of the Criminal Code
- 2 counts, Section 86(2) of the Criminal Code
- 2 counts, Section 105(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
Fisher appeared in Regina Provincial Court on June 21 at 9:30 a.m. We do not have information yet on his next court appearance.
This investigation is ongoing.
Several units and agencies supported this investigation and contributed to the arrest of Dalton Fisher. They include National Weapons Support Team (NWEST), RCMP Federal Serious and Organized Crime Saskatchewan, Regina Police Service (Canine Unit, Aerial Support Unit, SWAT and Patrol officers), Saskatchewan Provincial Prosecutions, the RCMP Regina Integrated Intelligence Unit, Division Operational Communication Centre (DOCC), and White Butte RCMP Detachment.
