Yesterday afternoon, at approximately 2:45 pm, two officers in a marked police vehicle were travelling eastbound on First St W as they were responding to a priority 1 call with their emergency lights and sirens activated. As they were passing another eastbound vehicle, it suddenly made a left hand turn and collided into the passenger side of the police vehicle.

The two officers suffered minor physical injuries as a result of the airbag deployment and were treated and released from hospital. The other driver, a 64-year-old male from Moose Lake, was not physically injured.

The Pas RCMP continue to investigate.
