A number of items including two tasers, an imitation rifle, a quantity of cash, contraband tobacco, a large quantity of prescription pills, and further evidence to support drug trafficking, were located and seized. JFO West received assistance with the arrests and the search of the property from RNC officers with the Criminal Investigation Division, Patrol Services and Police Dog Services.

Barnes and Wight are charged with the following criminal offences:

  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking

  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

Park is charged with one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking prescription pills.

The three were released from custody and are set to attend court at a later date. The investigation is continuing.
