Harbour Grace RCMP is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Friday evening at the Trinity Conception Square Mall in Carbonear.

At approximately 9:15 p.m., on January 21, police received the report. A man holding a weapon approached an employee of one of the businesses in the mall and demanded money. He departed the mall with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man is described as being a heavier set man, between five feet seven inches to five feet ten inches tall.
