On February 19, 2022, at approximately 12:30 am, Flin Flon RCMP received a report of people fighting at an apartment building on Aspen Grove in Flin Flon, Manitoba. When police attended, officers located one individual severely injured. A 53-year-old male was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. An 18-year-old female and a 51-year-old female were treated for injuries on scene.
Investigation has determined that several people forced their way into the residence and an altercation ensued. Police were able to track the suspects to another apartment in the building. Three males were arrested in relation to the attack. Weapons, including a machete, were also seized.
Hudson Bighetty, 26; Hawkins Bighetty, 23; and Triston Bear, 24, have been charged with Attempted Murder. They remain in custody.
The investigation is continuing.
