The Codiac Regional RCMP is releasing surveillance video photos of a suspect in a bank robbery, in hopes that someone from the public may recognize the person.

On July 5, 2020, shortly before 10 p.m., a woman entered the CIBC branch on Mountain Road in Moncton, N.B., and demanded money. The woman claimed that another individual was waiting outside, armed with a gun. An undisclosed amount of money was taken. No one was injured.

The Codiac RCMP has been investigating the incident, and is now seeking information from the public to help further their investigation.

The suspect is described as being about five feet two inches (157 centimetres) tall, with a thick build, and a round face. The woman was wearing a black sweater, black pants and a dark hat with light-coloured stripes or rings.

Anyone with information, or who may recognize the individual in the photos, is asked to call the Codiac RCMP at 506-857-2400.
